تعارف
اسلام میں کئی ایسے واقعات ملتے ہیں جن میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنی قدرت کا زبردست اظہار فرمایا۔ انہی میں ایک حیرت انگیز اور سبق آموز واقعہ ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ ہے۔ یہ قصہ سورۂ فیل میں تفصیل سے بیان ہوا ہے اور ہمیں یہ سمجھاتا ہے کہ کوئی بھی طاقت، خواہ کتنی ہی بڑی ہو، اللہ کی قدرت کے سامنے کچھ نہیں۔ آج بھی ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ ایمان کو تازہ کرتا ہے اور انسان کو اللہ کی عظمت کا احساس دلاتا ہے۔
ابرہہ کی حسد بھری خواہش
یمن کا بادشاہ ابرہہ قریش کی عزت اور بیت اللہ کی حرمت سے حسد کرتا تھا۔ وہ چاہتا تھا کہ لوگ مکہ آ کر حج نہ کریں بلکہ اس کے بنائے ہوئے کلیسا کی زیارت کریں۔ اسی حسد نے ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ کو جنم دیا۔ ابرہہ نے ارادہ کیا کہ بیت اللہ کو مسمار کر کے اپنی طاقت کا مظاہرہ کرے اور عرب پر اپنی برتری ثابت کرے۔
بڑا لشکر اور ہاتھی
ابرہہ نے ایک بڑا لشکر تیار کیا جس میں ہزاروں فوجی اور کئی ہاتھی شامل تھے۔ اس لشکر کی قیادت “محمود” نامی ایک بڑے ہاتھی کے پاس تھی۔ یہی ہاتھی بعد میں ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ کی مرکزی علامت بن گیا۔ عربوں نے کبھی ہاتھی نہیں دیکھے تھے، اس لیے یہ لشکر ان کے لیے خوفناک تھا۔ مگر اللہ کی حکمت کچھ اور تھی۔
قریش کی بے بسی
جب ابرہہ مکہ کے قریب پہنچا تو قریش بے بس ہو گئے۔ وہ نہ اتنی بڑی فوج سے لڑ سکتے تھے اور نہ ہاتھیوں کا مقابلہ کر سکتے تھے۔ عبدالمطلب، جو اس وقت قریش کے سردار تھے، ابرہہ سے ملے اور کہا:
“ہم اس گھر (کعبہ) کے مالک نہیں، اس کا مالک اللہ ہے، وہی اس کی حفاظت کرے گا۔”
یہ الفاظ ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ میں ایمان اور توکل کی عظیم مثال ہیں۔
ہاتھی کا بیٹھ جانا
ابرہہ نے جب بیت اللہ کی طرف بڑھنے کا حکم دیا تو محمود نامی ہاتھی نے آگے بڑھنے سے انکار کر دیا۔ اسے جس طرف موڑا جاتا، وہ لچک جاتا، مگر کعبہ کی سمت قدم نہ اٹھاتا۔ یہ منظر خود ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ میں اللہ کی قدرت کا پہلا ظاہری نشان تھا۔ ایک طاقتور ہاتھی اس کے حکم کے آگے بے بس ہو گیا۔

ابابیلوں کا معجزہ
اسی وقت اچانک آسمان پر چھوٹے چھوٹے پرندوں کے غول نظر آنے لگے، جنہیں ابابیل کہا جاتا ہے۔ ہر پرندے کے پاس تین کنکریاں تھیں: ایک چونچ میں اور دو پنجوں میں۔ یہاں سے ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ اپنی اصل اور حیرت انگیز شکل اختیار کرتا ہے۔ ان کنکریوں میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایسی طاقت رکھی تھی کہ وہ بڑے بڑے فوجیوں کو یوں تباہ کرتی گئیں جیسے خشک پتوں کو ہوا اڑا کر پھینک دیتی ہے۔
لشکر کی بربادی
ابابیلوں نے ابرہہ کے لشکر پر کنکریاں مارنا شروع کیں۔ یہ اتنی سخت تھیں کہ جسم کو چیر کر نکل جاتیں اور دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے عظیم لشکر تباہ ہو گیا۔ فوج کے خوبصورت جنگجو پلک جھپکتے میں ہلاک ہو گئے۔ ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ اس حقیقت کی گواہی دیتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی پکڑ سے کوئی نہیں بچ سکتا۔
ابرہہ کا انجام
ابرہہ بدترین بیماری میں مبتلا ہو گیا۔ اس کا جسم گلنے سڑنے لگا اور واپسی کے سفر میں ایک ایک عضو جھڑتا گیا۔ وہ اپنے انجام کو پہنچا اور دنیا والوں کے لیے عبرت کا نشان بن گیا۔ ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ ہمیں یہ سبق دیتا ہے کہ ظلم، تکبر اور حرم کی بے ادبی اللہ کو سخت ناراض کرتی ہے۔
بیت اللہ کی حفاظت کا پیغام
ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ اس سچائی کا اعلان کرتا ہے کہ بیت اللہ کی حفاظت خود اللہ کے ذمے ہے۔ نہ پہلے کوئی اسے نقصان پہنچا سکا اور نہ قیامت تک کوئی پہنچا سکے گا۔ یہ قصہ آج بھی ہر مسلمان کے دل میں عشقِ الٰہی اور عزتِ کعبہ کو بڑھاتا ہے۔
ایمان کے لیے روشنی
آج کے دور میں جب طاقت اور ہتھیاروں پر فخر کیا جاتا ہے، ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ یاد دلاتا ہے کہ اصل طاقت صرف اللہ کی ہے۔ وہ جب چاہے کمزوروں کو طاقتور بنا دے اور طاقتوروں کو پل بھر میں مٹا دے۔
نتیجہ
آخرکار ہاتھی والوں کا قصہ ایک عظیم معجزہ ہے جو قرآن میں ہمیشہ کے لیے محفوظ ہو گیا۔ یہ قصہ ظلم کے انجام، اللہ کی قدرت، اور بیت اللہ کی عظمت کا ایسا روشن ثبوت ہے جو ایمان کو تازہ کرتا ہے۔ مسلمان اسے پڑھ کر یقین حاصل کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ اپنے گھر، اپنے دین اور اپنے بندوں کی حفاظت بہتر جانتا ہے۔
