تعارف – ایک اچھا دوست کیوں ضروری ہے؟
زندگی میں ایک اچھا دوست وہ خزانہ ہوتا ہے جو دکھ اور خوشی دونوں میں کام آتا ہے۔ جس کے ساتھ ہم ہنس بھی سکتے ہیں اور دل کے راز بھی بانٹ سکتے ہیں۔ ایک اچھا دوست صرف کھیلنے کا ساتھی نہیں بلکہ وہ شخص ہوتا ہے جو ہمیں اچھے راستے کی طرف رہنمائی کرتا ہے۔ اسی موضوع پر آج کی ہماری کہانی ہے — ایک اچھا دوست۔
کہانی کا آغاز – علی اور فرحان کی دوستی
ایک چھوٹے سے گاؤں میں علی اور فرحان نام کے دو دوست رہتے تھے۔ دونوں ایک دوسرے کے بغیر ادھورے تھے۔ اسکول جانا، کھیلنا، اور یہاں تک کہ ناشتہ کرنا بھی وہ ساتھ کرتے تھے۔ گاؤں کے سب لوگ کہتے، “واقعی، یہ دونوں مثال ہیں کہ ایک اچھا دوست کیسا ہونا چاہیے!”
فرحان بہت نیک اور فرمانبردار بچہ تھا، وہ ہمیشہ علی کو نماز پڑھنے، والدین کی بات ماننے اور جھوٹ سے بچنے کا مشورہ دیتا تھا۔ علی کبھی کبھی شرارتوں میں حد سے بڑھ جاتا، لیکن فرحان اسے ہمیشہ سمجھاتا کہ “ایک اچھا دوست وہی ہوتا ہے جو ہمیں غلط کاموں سے روکے، نہ کہ ان میں ساتھ دے۔”
جنگل کا سفر – امتحان کی گھڑی
ایک دن دونوں دوستوں نے طے کیا کہ وہ اسکول سے واپسی پر جنگل کے راستے سے گزریں گے تاکہ وہاں کھیل سکیں۔ چلتے چلتے دونوں ہنس رہے تھے، پھول چن رہے تھے، پرندوں کی آوازیں سن رہے تھے۔ اچانک جھاڑیوں میں حرکت ہوئی، اور ایک خطرناک ریچھ ان کے سامنے آ گیا!
علی گھبرا گیا اور فوراً بھاگ کر درخت پر چڑھ گیا۔ لیکن فرحان کو درخت پر چڑھنا نہیں آتا تھا۔ اس نے فوراً زمین پر لیٹ کر سانس روک لی تاکہ ریچھ سمجھے کہ وہ مر گیا ہے۔ ریچھ قریب آیا، سونگھا، اور یہ سمجھ کر کہ لڑکا مر چکا ہے، واپس چلا گیا۔
جب خطرہ ٹلا تو علی نیچے اترا اور ہنستے ہوئے بولا، “ریچھ تمہارے کان میں کیا کہہ گیا تھا، فرحان؟”
فرحان نے مسکرا کر جواب دیا، “ریچھ نے کہا کہ ایک اچھا دوست وہ نہیں ہوتا جو مشکل وقت میں درخت پر چڑھ جائے، بلکہ وہ ہوتا ہے جو ساتھ کھڑا رہے!”
سبق – ایک اچھا دوست ہمیشہ ساتھ دیتا ہے
اس دن علی کو احساس ہوا کہ دوستی کا مطلب صرف ہنسی مذاق نہیں بلکہ ایک دوسرے کے دکھ میں ساتھ دینا ہے۔ اس نے شرمندہ ہو کر فرحان سے معافی مانگی اور وعدہ کیا کہ وہ آئندہ سچا اور مددگار دوست بنے گا۔
ایک اچھا دوست کبھی اپنے ساتھی کو اکیلا نہیں چھوڑتا۔ چاہے خطرہ ہو، مشکل ہو یا آزمائش، وہ ساتھ رہتا ہے۔
ایک نیا آغاز – دوستی کی روشنی
اس واقعے کے بعد دونوں کی دوستی مزید گہری ہو گئی۔ اب وہ نہ صرف کھیلنے میں بلکہ نماز، پڑھائی اور دوسروں کی مدد میں بھی ایک دوسرے کا ساتھ دیتے تھے۔
گاؤں کے سب لوگ ان کی مثال دینے لگے کہ “یہ ہیں ایک اچھا دوست کی بہترین مثال!”
فرحان اکثر کہا کرتا، “دنیا میں رشتے بہت ملتے ہیں، مگر ایک اچھا دوست قسمت والوں کو نصیب ہوتا ہے۔”
نتیجہ – ایک اچھا دوست زندگی کی نعمت ہے
بچو! یاد رکھو، ایک اچھا دوست وہ ہوتا ہے جو تمہیں برائی سے بچائے، سچ بولنے کی ترغیب دے، والدین کی عزت سکھائے اور اللہ سے محبت کا راستہ دکھائے۔
دوستوں کے بغیر زندگی ادھوری لگتی ہے، مگر غلط دوستوں کے ساتھ یہ برباد بھی ہو سکتی ہے۔ اس لیے ہمیشہ اچھے دوست چنو، اور خود بھی دوسروں کے لیے ایک اچھا دوست بنو۔
کہانی کا اخلاقی سبق:
“دوستی وہ نہیں جو صرف خوشی میں ہو، بلکہ وہ ہے جو دکھ میں بھی ساتھ نبھائے۔”

Beginning of the story – Ali and Farhan’s friendship
In a small village lived two friends named Ali and Farhan. Both were incomplete without each other. They used to go to school, play, and even eat breakfast together. Everyone in the village would say, “Indeed, these two are examples of what a good friend should be!”
Farhan was a very good and obedient child, he always advised Ali to pray, obey his parents and avoid lying. Ali would sometimes go overboard in mischief, but Farhan would always explain to him that “a good friend is one who stops us from doing wrong, not encourages us in it.”
Jungle Journey – Exam Hour
One day the two friends decided to walk through the forest on their way back from school to play there. While walking, both of them were laughing, picking flowers, and listening to the sounds of birds. Suddenly there was movement in the bushes, and a dangerous bear appeared in front of them!
Ali panicked and immediately ran and climbed a tree. But Farhan did not know how to climb the tree. He immediately lay down on the ground and stopped breathing so that the bear thought he was dead. The bear approached, sniffed, and, thinking the boy was dead, went back.
When the danger averted, Ali got down and laughingly said, “What did the bear say in your ear, Farhan?”
Farhan smiled and replied, “The bear said that a good friend is not one who climbs a tree in difficult times, but one who stands by!”
Lesson – A good friend always supports
That day, Ali realized that friendship is not just about laughing and joking, but supporting each other in their sorrows. Embarrassed, he apologized to Farhan and promised to be a true and helpful friend in the future.
A good friend never leaves his partner alone. Whether there is danger, difficulty or trial, He stays with you.
A New Beginning – The Light of Friendship
After this incident, the friendship between the two deepened. Now they supported each other not only in playing but also in prayer, study and helping others.
All the people of the village began to exemplify him saying, “This is the best example of a good friend!”
Farhan often used to say, “There are many relationships in the world, but a good friend is a gift to the lucky ones.”
